Christopher Nosnibor doesn't just write novels and short stories: he's also an epic ranter and social commentator. While some of his more keenly-observed and cogently expressed essays can be found in Postmodern Fragments: Writings on Work, Technology and Postmodern Living, the remainder of his commentaries and spoutings generally surface via his blog or other Internet-based sources.

Selected highlights will be added to this page over time.

No Christmas would be complete without the winner of X Factor sitting at the top of the singles chart. It's all depresingly predictable really:
'X Factor Christmas Number One Shocker!'

Back on form after a break from ranting, petty bureaucrats beware.. Christopher Nosnibor's got the power!
'The Power of Power and Absolute Power... or, No Time to be 21: The Beginning of an Accidental Career'

Nothing like a good media furore to get people talknig about nothing of import: step forward Russell Brand, Jonathan Ross, Sarah Maple...
'Controversy, Shock Tactics and.... Nothing to Say'

2007 was a low point in popular culture. Who could have guessed that it could decline even further?
'A New Low in Commercial Barrel-Scraping'

More frothing at the mouth over media manipulations, there's no escaping 'X Factor' - and 2008 was a bad year...
'Sacrilege!'

Who the fuck cares what Lily Allen had for dinner last night?
'Get a Little Bit Closer: Memoir, Accessibility and Brushing Virtual Shoulders with Celebrity'

Who says that 'profanity' is indicative of a limited vocabulary?

A blog on blogging:

'Blogging and the MySpace Generation: Gatecrashing Someone Else’s Therapy Session'

...a rant about J. K. Rowling and the big money that cntinues to spin from the Harry Potter Brand:

'Harry Potter and the Dangerous Temptation to Cash In'

...and a rant on the current over(mis)use of the word 'iconic' (and various other things):

'More Scum of the Iconic Variety'

And if you've stumbled upon this website by accident, Christopher can probably have a guess what brought you here...

'Dataminers! The Knitting Pattern Revolution Starts Here!'

More rants to follow. But if you've enjoyed these, why not subscribe to Christopher's MySpace Blog which is updated weekly?
